Country Stars Come Out For Nashville Film Festival

The NASHVILLE FILM FESTIVAL kicks off tonight (4/17) at the REGAL GREEN HILLS 16 theater in the GREEN HILLS section of NASHVILLE, and TRACE ADKINS, BIG KENNY of BIG & RICH and CARTER'S CHORD are some of the Country artists slated to attend.
SHOW DOG group CARTER'S CHORD will be walking the red carpet tonight (4/17) at the premiere of "The Deal," starring WILLIAM H. MACY, MEG RYAN and JASON RITTER. The film begins showing at 7p (CT). They will also be attending the VIP after-party at BMI/NASHVILLE.
Next WEDNESDAY (4/23), CAPITOL star TRACE ADKINS will attend a screening of his new film, "Trailer Park of Terror," at 9p (CT), and WARNER BROS.' BIG KENNY will be at the premiere of his documentary "Bearing Light: A Journey To SUDAN." The film follows BIG KENNY, his wife CHRISTIEV and singer songwriter DAMIEN HORNE as they travel into the southern SUDAN region, near DARFUR. "Bearing Light" will begin showing at 7p (CT) with a question-and-answer session to follow featuring KENNY, CHRISTIEV and others. DAMIEN will also be performing after the screening.
