BLOUNT COUNTY BROADCASTING SERVICE, INC. is selling WKLD/ONEONTA, AL to GREAT SOUTH WIRELESS, LLC. The sale price is undisclosed in the filing, which refers to a deal and option signed by the parties on MARCH 17th that includes a price to be paid if the station's application to move from the area north of BIRMINGHAM into the HUNTSVILLE market with new city of license UNION GROVE, AL is approved by the FCC.
Also filed with the FCC, ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS RADIO SERVICE, INC. is transferring Silent WRFM-A/MUNCIE, IN to JENNIFER COX-HENSLEY's INDIANA COMMUNITY RADIO CORPORATION for no consideration. The station, formerly Southern Gospel WLHN-A (PURE GOSPEL 990), went silent in JULY 2007 and has an application to move across the state to PRINCETON, IN, north of EVANSVILLE, with 350 watts daytime only at 1030 AM.
