Lady A Is #1!
A big congrats to CAPITOL/NASHVILLE Sr. VP JIMMY HARNEN, VP/National Promotion STEVE HODGES, VP/Strategic Marketing SHANE ALLEN and staff on the successful debut of LADY ANTEBELLUM's self-titled album. LADY A took the top spot on the BILLBOARD Country charts and #4 on the Pop charts after selling 43,000 copies in the CD's first week of release.
In addition, they are the first brand-new Country band to debut in the Top 10 on the overall iTUNES album chart, at one point reaching No. 3 behind MARIAH CAREY and TRISTAN PRETTYMAN.
