New charts will be published every TUESDAY.
In addition, the weekly USA TODAY Airplay Charts will be used by more than 500 radio stations and music industry websites, as well as nationally syndicated radio shows such as "AMERICAN TOP 40 WITH RYAN SEACREST," "AMERICAN TOP 10 (And 20) WITH CASEY KASEM," "LON HELTON's COUNTRY COUNTDOWN USA," "BOB KINGSLEY's COUNTRY TOP 40," and "THE JEFF FOXWORTHY COUNTDOWN. "
MEDIABASE President RICH MEYER stated, "This partnership is a crowning achievement of MEDIABASE's growth over the past two decades. To be aligned with such a credible, reliable and well-known source as USA TODAY, underscores our commitment to excellence. The USA TODAY Airplay Charts will quickly establish themselves as the gold standard to the consumer."
"We are excited to partner with MEDIABASE on these airplay charts. They are a terrific complement to our popular TUESDAY music feature "Listen Up" and we think readers will enjoy this great addition to our music coverage," said USA TODAY Pres./Publisher CRAIG MOON.
ALL ACCESS caught up with MEDIABASE SVP/Music Initiatives, ALISSA POLLACK, who commented on this groundbreaking partnership: "In the face of a rapidly changing music business, this union between USA TODAY and MEDIABASE will supercharge awareness. Everyone loves music. It's a matter of getting the information in front of the consumer, and that's exactly what we're going to do."
