AURORA COMMUNICATIONS INC. is selling the construction permit for a new FM in CARMEL VALLEY, CA (in the MONTEREY-SALINAS market) to LAZER BROADCASTING for $,867,425, which includes forgiveness of $1.72 million in debt. LAZER already owns two other stations in the market, Regional Mexican simulcast KXZM and KXSM. The new station will operate with 800 watts at 906 feet HAAT on 105.9 FM.
In other deals filed with the FCC, HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is selling the construction permit for new FM KWDI/IDALIA, CO to ROGER HOPPE's CONUNDRUM COMMUNICATIONS INVESTMENTS, INC. for $17,500. HOPPE also owns Classic Hits simulcast KLIM-A and KIIQ/LIMON, CO.
OKEFENOKEE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION, INC. is selling noncommercial Classic Country WATY/FOLKSTON, GA to THE FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING IN GEORGIA, INC. for $350,000 plus an LMA before closing.
And VICTOR A. MICHAEL, JR. 's KIMBALL RADIO, LLC is selling Country KIMB-A/KIMBALL, NE to ALEXANDER L. CREIGHTON's STERLING RADIO, LLC for $50,000. The station has a construction permit to move to OGALLALA, NE and increase to 50,000 watts daytime.
