The RAB TODAY (5/16) released its radio revenue report for APRIL, which showed local revenues (all markets) were down 1%. With MARCH having been down 8%, one could look at that as an improvement.
National revenues were off by 5%, while combined national and local revenues fell by 2% .
Non-Spot revenue was the bright spot again, this time up 8%.
Local and national revenues are based on approximately 100 markets as reported by the accounting firm of MILLER KAPLAN ARASE & CO. Off-Air data has been collected and verified since JANUARY of 2002, and reported since SEPTEMBER of 2004.
