Hawaii's Bill Bigelow Dies

Condolences to family and friends of HONOLULU broadcasting veteran, actor, writer, and public relations executive BILL BIGELOW, who died SUNDAY from complications of cancer at 75, according to the HONOLULU STAR-BULLETIN.
BIGELOW, most recently the marketing director for RON JACOBS' whodaguyhawaii.com, was a newsman at KCCN-A and KHON-TV/HONOLULU in the '60s and '70s, and also worked as a PR man for SHERATON HOTELS and his own firm. He appeared in many of the TV shows shot in HAWAII, including "HAWAII FIVE-O," "MAGNUM P.I.," and episodes of "CHARLIE'S ANGELS" and "JAKE AND THE FATMAN," as well as on stage. BIGELOW was also involved in a revival of the "HAWAII CALLS" radio show with JACOBS in the '90s.
