ELLE DUNCAN, who works on THE RYAN CAMERON SHOW on CBS Urban WVEE (V103)/ATLANTA, reported to the ATLANTA police MAY 11th that a man named ONEIL HURSEFIELD was stalking her, reports THE ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION. HURSEFIELD started out by sending her "strange and obsessive" e-mails -- five in the first week, according to an ATLANTA police report. The e-mails became more and more frequent, and HURSEFIELD then started sending flowers to her radio station, the report said.
The radio station's management stepped in, telling HURSEFIELD to "cease" all communication with DUNCAN and to not appear at the station or any events, the police report said. But DUNCAN told police that HURSEFIELD ignored those commands, saying that he wanted to be with her.
"I didn't know that she accused me of stalking her," he said. "She never said, 'Stop sending me e-mails.'"
HURSEFIELD also said that the radio station's management never told him to stop contacting her, and that ATLANTA police have not contacted him about DUNCAN's accusations. He denied that he was stalking DUNCAN, but admitted he was interested in her. "I thought she was attractive," he said. "I thought she was cool."
