Pettit Leaves, Valentine Moves And Martin Joins...In Nashville

COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE welcomes ALEX VALENTINE as the new Director/Southwest Regional Promotion. He will replace JORDAN PETTIT who will be leaving the label on June 6th. VALENTINE segues from ARISTA/NASHVILLE where he covered the same region.
He joined the SONY BMG/NASHVILLE family in 2006 with a background in radio as well as time spent at ISLAND DEF JAM and SANCTUARY MUSIC GROUP. VALENTINE will report to COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE VP/National Promotion JIMMY RECTOR and will continue to work from his home in TEXAS. His e-mail will remain the same at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Filling the now vacant spot at ARISTA/NASHVILLE will be CHERI LYNN MARTIN. She has worked for the label group in the past, including five years as the National Director/Promotion for RCA Label Group/BMG Music handling Top 40, Hot AC and AC stations. She also handled the Midwest for BNA RECORDS/NASHVILLE on an interim basis in 2005-2006. She most recently spent two years working in independent promotion.
She will now report to ARISTA/NASHVILLE VP/National Promotion SKIP BISHOP and will be on the job on MONDAY (6/2). She will be relocating from SEATTLE to AUSTIN in the near future. Reach out to her at email@example.com or (206) 323-6834.
