ACM Awards Viewership Up, Bolsters Sales

The ACM (ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC) has reported a 26% increase in audience for its 43rd ANNUAL ACM AWARDS, held on MAY 18th and broadcast on CBS-TV. The show garnered 11.7 viewers and was the second-highest rated program throughout the full three hours it aired.
The program also apparently bolstered a great sales week as well, with CARRIE UNDERWOOD’s sales increasing 58%, RODNEY ATKINS was up by 73% and MIRANDA LAMBERT showing a 52% increase.
