New Radio Home For Salukis

LEARFIELD SPORTS inks a deal with WITHERS BROADCASTING to serve as the new home for SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY sports, starting with this FALL's football season.
The new flagship for the SALUKI SPORTS NETWORK will be WITHERS Top 40 WVZA (KISS FM 92.7)/HERRIN-CARBONDALE, with Hot AC WRXX (X-95)/CENTRALIA, IL, AC WEBQ-F/ELDORADO-HARRISBURG, IL, Country WRUL/CARMI, IL, Oldies KYRX (OLDIES 97.3)/MARBLE HILL-CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO, and Country WMOK-A/METROPOLIS, IL-PADUCAH, KY also joining the network. The network is negotiating for the return of MIKE REIS and the rest of the football and basketball broadcast crews for next season. In addition, WDDD-A/MARION will air women's basketball and either WDDD or WRFX-A will air baseball.
