Mariners May Change Radio Homes, Paper Says

The SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER is reporting that "sources close to the club" tell the paper that it is unlikely that the SEATTLE MARINERS will return to FISHER News KOMO-A/SEATTLE for the 2009 season. The team is closing out a six year contract at about $10 million per season with KOMO, and former MARINERS home BONNEVILLE Talk KIRO-A and CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KJR-A are cited as likely bidders for the games.
MARINERS VP for Communications RANDY ADAMACK said talks with FISHER and KOMO are "not dead, dead, dead, dead dead... there's still a chance." but added that the team has been talking to other stations.
