COLDPLAY seems to be enjoying its participation in CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO's Sneak Peek program. Last THURSDAY, the British band's album "Viva La Vida" became available on demand on over 300 CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO station websites; the full-album preview continues through next MONDAY.
As of noon ET yesterday, it became obvious that The "Viva La Vida" album preview would be one of the most successful Sneak Peeks, besting the likes of BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, JOHN MAYER and KENNY CHESNEY, with nearly one million page views and 400,000 plays. All told, the CD has been heard to an on-air audience of 35 million and an online audience of 11 million
The Sneak Peek program is one facet of CLEAR CHANNEL’s online initiatives that generate upwards of 40 million plays each month, with content ranging from music videos to station-created audio and video clips to exclusive artist performances.
