Will Clive Calder Buy The BMG Half of Sony BMG?

The latest rumour for the sale of the BMG half of Sony BMG is that former ZOMBA owner CLIVE CALDER has made a bid for the company, writes the AUSTRALIAN web site UNDERCOVER.COM. CALDER made his fortune 6 years ago when BMG bought his ZOMBA RECORD company for $2.8 billion. ZOMBA was the home of BRITNEY SPEARS, BACKSTREET BOYS and NSYNC.
The asking price for the BMG half is $1.5 billion, more than $1 billion less than what CALDER was paid for just his corner of the company.
CALDER has stayed away from the business since his "lottery" win but has never discounted getting back in. To do so now means that he could regain his old company and the company that bought it -- and still have a billion to spare.
CALDER is rumoured to have bid $1.2 billion for the BMG half.
