The LOS ANGELES DODGERS have named LAURYN LUKIN as VP/Broadcasting, overseeing the team's radio and TV deals and the DODGER RADIO NETWORK. LUKIN, who comes to CHAVEZ RAVINE from the NFL's BALTIMORE RAVENS, where she served as Manager of Broadcasting and lead editor and producer for the club's RAVE-TV, is assuming the broadcasting-related duties formerly held by VP/Public Relations and Broadcasting JOSH RAWITCH. RAWITCH has the new title of VP/Communications and will continue to be the primary contact for the DODGERS' announcing crew.
LUKIN's background includes working for ESPN, USA NETWORK and the BALTIMORE ORIOLES. She has won 11 CAPITAL DISTRICT Emmy Awards and served as a member of the Board of Directors for the RAVENS All Community Team Foundation.
DODGERS COO DENNIS MANNION said, "LAURYN's strong broadcasting background encompasses a variety of areas that will benefit the DODGERS. She has witnessed first-hand the necessity for unique content and will serve as a valuable resource in distributing it to our fans around the world."
The DODGERS air on a 25-station radio network headed by CITADEL Talk KABC-A/LOS ANGELES and, in Spanish, LIBERMAN Ranchera KHJ-A/LOS ANGELES.
