HIPCRICKET has entered into an agreement that brings SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM’s radio stations into HIPCRICKET’s recently announced comprehensive Hispanic Mobile Marketing Network. By adding SBS, HIPCRICKET’s Hispanic Mobile Marketing Network will now reach over seven million Hispanic radio listeners in the leading markets across the country such as LOS ANGELES, MIAMI, CHICAGO and NEW YORK.
"This deal with SBS is a significant milestone in the growth of our network, and represents a strong endorsement by a major Hispanic media player of the power of mobile marketing for Hispanic audiences," said HIPCRICKET CEO IVAN BRAIKER. "We are grateful to all our Hispanic media partners for their leadership and vision in working with us to create a uniquely powerful mobile marketing platform connecting brands and advertisers with Hispanic consumers."
BRAIKER told ALL ACCESS, "Hispanics are the #1 indexing group that utilizes mobile messaging. SBS is a tremendous TV and radio operator, and being able to work with (SBS VP/Programming) PIO, who is smart, bright creative and very focused on his station's needs. We are very excited about this new association with SBS.
"We are always looking for new ways to deepen our audience’s engagement with our radio properties, talent and advertisers," said SBS EVP/COO MARKO RADLOVIC. "We chose to work with HIPCRICKET because they have delivered over 17,000 successful mobile campaigns with dramatic, measurable results. Most importantly, they truly understand Hispanic consumers and can help us reach our listeners through their favorite digital device -- their mobile phones."
HIP CRICKET Chief Marketing Officer JEFF HASEN added, "This move with SBS takes us from 1 million to over 7 million listeners in great markets like LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK, CHICAGO, and MIAMI. It represents significant building blocks and brings value to our original partners and adds values to our brand as it extends HIP CRICKET's reach. With a single buy, advertisers can now efficiently tap into a lot of new, great opt-in users.
"And, we're pleased that FISHER has come aboard with three TV stations in WASHINGTON STATE, which brings HIP CRICKET just shy of 100 stations, both radio and TV."
