June 23, 2008 at 10:56 AM (PT)
Internet-only RADIO GEORGE has launched "AMERICA's Station," which claims to play "All patriotic music, all the time." It is the brainchild of GEORGE WOODS, Talk show veteran of KTRS/ST. LOUIS and KCMO/KANSAS CITY.
The station features songs and music that would be suitable for a FOURTH OF JULY celebration of fireworks or a holiday party, featuring 50 selections that range from traditional marches and patriotic classics to country and rock songs about AMERICA or aspects of American life. The station also features four different online fireworks shows lasting approximately six minutes each, which can be viewed while listening to the music.
RADIO GEORGE has no commercials; revenue is generated by display advertising on each station's home page. RADIO GEORGE's advertising roster includes STARBUCKS, KODAK, PRICELINE, USATODAY, and other major U.S. businesses, as well as EURORAIL.
No charges, subscription fees, or special players are required to listen to the station, which can be accessed at www.radiogeorge.com. For more information, contact GEORGE WOODS at (913)310-0075 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
