The SEATTLE TIMES is reporting that a source told the paper that the SEATTLE MARINERS will return to its former flagship, BONNEVILLE Talk KIRO-A/SEATTLE, next year. The source says that incumbent News KOMO-A has dropped out of the bidding, and that the other likely bidder, CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KJR-A, has dropped out as well.
KIRO was the flagship for the club from its inception through 2003, when FISHER paid $10 million a year for a five-year deal to move the games to KOMO.
