UNIVERSAL RECORDS SOUTH Northeast/Midwest Promo Rep CHUCK SWANEY is resigning from the label after 2 ½ years. The promotions veteran told ALL ACCESS that ‘it was time for a change,’ citing knee surgery that he underwent recently being more extensive than first expected. SWANEY said that he will decide his next move after recuperating. Contact him at (248) 202-4116 or email@example.com.
Concurrently at U-SOUTH, promo veteran JORDAN PETTIT, formerly of COLUMBIA RECORDS, will join his old boss, VP TEDDI BONADIES, to handle SWANEY’s former duties on an interim basis. BONADIES and PETTIT both worked together at COLUMBIA, prior to her joining UNIVERSAL RECORDS SOUTH. In addition, ALL ACCESS is hearing that PETIT will be handling promotion on product released on the REPUBLIC imprint, such as the ELI YOUNG BAND.
In other news at UNIVERSAL SOUTH, former CURB RECORDS Promo Rep KAREN McGUIRE is set to join her new team, taking on the Southwest. Both her and PETIT will start on MONDAY, JULY 14th.
