Veteran NORTH CAROLINA broadcaster TOM JOYNER is selling the construction permit for new FM station WNCM/GARYSBURG, NC to CAPITOL BROADCASTING COMPANY for $825,000. The class A station has applied to move to SHARPSBURG, NC (ROCKY MOUNT).
In other deals filed with the FCC, PUBLIC RADIO CAPITAL is selling KNNZ-A/CEDAR CITY, UT to E. MORGAN SKINNER JR.'s RADIO 940, LLC (LEGACY COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION) for $150,000; EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W255BF/MCKENZIE, TN to WHDM BROADCASTING, INC. for $14,000; and DAVID W. HORSLEY, SR. is selling his 100% interest in WESTERN WYOMING RADIO, INC., licensee of Country KRSV-A-F (STAR COUNTRY USA)/AFTON, WY, to the JERRY AND JENNIE HANSEN FAMILY TRUST for one dollar.
