Harris To Mornings, Dr. Laura Added At KDWN

BEASLEY Talk KDWN-A/LAS VEGAS ups middayer HEIDI HARRIS to mornings as host of "HEIDI HARRIS AND THE KDWN MORNING NEWS," joining anchors JOHN SHAFFER and PD CHARLOTTE BURKE, reporters BRIAN PING and SABRINA SABBAGH, and traffic anchors MARK THOMAS and MITCH KELLY 5-10a PT, effective MONDAY (7/21). When HARRIS moves to mornings, KDWN will add TAKE ON THE DAY LLC's DR. LAURA SCHLESSINGER for 10a-noon PT.

HARRIS, who joined the revamped KDWN in APRIL 2007 from crosstown CBS Talk KXNT-A, said, "For the past 15 months, listeners have been telling me that they love my midday show – but they'd listen more if I were on in the mornings again. I am very happy to join the KDWN Morning News Team – the fastest growing morning show in LAS VEGAS."
