WTAQ Raises Funds For Kids' Cancer Charity

MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Talk WTAQ-A/GREEN BAY held its first ever radiothon for FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH CANCER on JULY 11 and 18 and raised $13,151 for the cause. 

The "Rainbow Radiothon" was held in conjunction with FOCWC’s Rainbow Classic Walk/Run, its main fundraising event. Pledges were taken during the WTAQ morning show and the JERRY BADER show both days. FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH CANCER provides services to families in Northeast WISCONSIN who have had a child diagnosed with cancer.
