WXRV Names Mike Mullaney For OM/PD/Mornings

Rumors become reality (NET NEWS 7/18), as after 10 years at CBS RADIO Hot AC WBMX (MIX 98.5)/BOSTON, APD/MD MIKE MULLANEY has been named OM/PD/morning show host at crosstown NORTHEAST BROADCASTING AAA WXRV (92.5 THE RIVER) filling the void left by the recent departure of RON BOWEN. 

It's a return to the station for MULLANEY who proclaims, "I'm really excited to get started working with STEPHEN SILBERBERG and the great staff of 'THE RIVER' again! WXRV was our baby, and it's great to be headed back to help the station and staff achieve even greater success”. 

MULLANEY will also take over morning-drive duties, which he handled at THE RIVER along with Music Director/Assistant Program Director duties from '96-'98.
