The FCC has fined CHRISTOPHER H. BENNETT BROADCASTING OF WASHINGTON, INC. $5,600 for main studio violations at Urban AC-Talk KBMS-A/VANCOUVER, WA-PORTLAND. The Commission found the main studio locked and unmanned at various times during regular business hours.
A $7,000 fine for antenna enclosure violations at KBMS was cancelled because the towers were built on 12 foot pier bases, which satisfies the "other enclosures" requirement of the rules.
The Commission also proposed a $5,200 fine against SAGA RADIO NETWORKS, LLC for late license renewal application and unauthorized operation of a satellite earth station in GROSSE POINTE FARMS, MI. SAGA owns MICHIGAN RADIO NETWORK.
