Gilda's Club Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Songwriter Showcase

GILDA’s/NASHVILLE, which opened its doors on AUGUST 3rd, 1998, turns 10-years old this week and will be celebrating with two songwriter showcases at NASHVILLE’s famed BLUEBIRD CAFÉ. The shows will be held on TUESDAY, AUGUST 12th and will feature some of NASHVILLE’s best writers like BRYAN WHITE, DAVE BERG, LIZ ROSE, WALT ALDRIDGE and many others. Tickets are $30 with all proceeds benefiting GILDA’s.
GILDA’s CLUB/NASHVILLE, an affiliate of GILDA’s CLUB WORLDWIDE, is a support system for cancer patients and their families in a "non-residential homelike setting." The organization was founded by the late great comedian/actress GILDA RADNER, who passed away from ovarian cancer in MAY of 1989.
