Allison Jones Reunites With Scott Borchetta At Big Machine/Valory

Sister labels BIG MACHINE RECORDS and The VALORY Music Co. have announced the addition of ALLISON JONES as VP of A&R for both labels. This reunites JONES with President & CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA as the two of them previously worked together at DREAMWORKS/NASHVILLE.

"ALLISON has some of the best ears in our business,” says BORCHETTA. “I've stayed away from an 'official' A&R person since we opened because most of our first signings were singer/songwriters which were predominantly self-contained and I did not want to mess with the vision. ALLISON is the perfect compliment to me, our roster and our staffs and she instinctively knows what to do - this will be seamless. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement. This is like one of your best friends moving back home."

Most recently JONES was VP of A&R at SHOWDOG RECORDS and has also had stints at BNA RECORDS, GIANT and UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP.
