New KYNO Owner Plans Talk Flip

The new owner of KYNO-A (RADIO GUADALUPE)/FRESNO will flip the station from Spanish Religion to Talk, reports the FRESNO BEE's RICK BENTLEY.
JOHN OSTLUND, who also owns Adult Standards KJWL (K-JEWEL 99.3 FM) and bought KYNO from SPANISH CATHOLIC RADIO OF FRESNO, LLC for $1.6 million, will change formats under an LMA on SEPTEMBER 2nd, with ABC's DON IMUS, WESTWOOD ONE's DENNIS MILLER, BILL O'REILLY and LARRY KING, and TAKE ON THE DAY's Dr. LAURA SCHLESSINGER in the lineup. A local show with a host to be announced the day before the flip is also planned.
