AC/DC Is On A Highway To Wal-Mart

COLUMBIA RECORDS will be selling the new AC/DC album, "Black Ice," exclusively at WAL-MART and SAM'S CLUB retail locations beginning MONDAY, OCTOBER 20th. The CD also will be available online via walmart.com, samsclub.com and the band's website acdc.com. "Black Ice," AC/DC's first album of all-new material in eight years, features 15 tracks and will be sold for $11.88.
The first single, "Rock 'N' Roll Train," launches on AUGUST 28th; the band is set to kick off its first world tour since 2001 in late OCTOBER. "Like all excited fans of AC/DC, we can hardly wait for the launch of this album and all that will surround it," WAL-MART SVP/Entertainment GARY SEVERSON said. "We promise there will be a multitude of opportunities for fans of all ages to get involved and 'rock again' as we count down to OCTOBER 20th."
