SEQUIM COMMUNITY BROADCASTING co-founder RICK PERRY tells the PENINSULA DAILY NEWS that his company has won a construction permit for noncommercial KSQM/SEQUIM, WA, a new station at 91.5 FM serving the DUNGENESS VALLEY area of WASHINGTON from PORT ANGELES to DIAMOND POINT. PERRY tells the paper that he hopes for a NOVEMBER sign-on.
At the station's website, the station says, "Since hearing the news, we have been hard at work making all the necessary plans to have the station up and running by NOVEMBER or DECEMBER of this year–before winter sets in. From setting up our studio and offices to building and installing equipment, there is much to be done between now and then."
