Louisiana FM Changes Hands

METROPOLITAN RADIO GROUP, INC. is selling Country KORI (STAR COUNTRY)/MANSFIELD, LA to HOUSTON CHRISTIAN BROADCASTERS, INC. for $150,000. JAMIE RASNICK of JOHN PIERCE AND CO. served as broker for the deal.
In other deals filed with the FCC, COLTRACE COMMUNICATIONS has reported a 2006 stock sale in which partner JOHN SALOV bought out JEROME S. RYDELL's 50% interest to get 100% voting control of the company for $308,000. The company, which owns Classic Hits WUPS/HARRISON, MI and Country WTWS (92.1 THE TWISTER)/HOUGHTON LAKE, MI, said that it realized while preparing its 2008 biennial ownership report that the stock sale constituted a transfer of control.
In FM translator deals, WAY-FM MEDIA GROUP, INC is selling W239AA/FAYETTEVILLE, TN to MARSHALL COUNTY RADIO CORPORATION for $28,000; and COMMUNITY PUBLIC RADIO, INC. is selling K285FJ/BRINNON, WA to OLYMPIC BROADCASTING, INC. for $17,000.
