Actor, Former KFAC/L.A. PD Fred Crane Dead At 90

Condolences to family and friends of actor and former Classical KFAC-A-F/LOS ANGELES personality and PD FRED CRANE, who died of a blood clot in his lung after a battle with complications from diabetes THURSDAY near ATLANTA at 90.
CRANE was the oldest surviving adult male actor who appeared in "GONE WITH THE WIND," having played one of the TARLETON twins in the 1939 epic. He joined KFAC in 1946 while still acting, and became full-time at KFAC in the mid-1960s, serving as PD of the AM side in the 1970s, exiting in 1987.
