Country Stars Gather For Jerry Lewis' MDA Labor Day Telethon

The 43rd Annual JERRY LEWIS MDA (MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION) LABOR DAY TELETHON will take place this SUNDAY and MONDAY (8/31-9/1), and several Country artists will be in attendance to help promote the cause.
MERCURY/NASHVILLE duo SUGARLAND, MCA/NASHVILLE star REBA McENTIRE, ROCKY COMFORT RECORDS/NASHVILLE artist TRACY LAWRENCE, VALORY MUSIC CO./NASHVILLE's JIMMY WAYNE and Country artist BILLY GILMAN will perform at this year's event, benefiting MDA and its research, services and education.
In 2007 the TELETHON raised a record $63.8 million in pledges and donations. This year's event will be broadcast from 9p (ET) this SUNDAY (8/31) to 6:30p (ET) on MONDAY (9/1) in the U.S. and CANADA on 180 television stations on MDA's "LOVE NETWORK."
