Former WNNK Host Bond Pleads Guilty In Check Scheme

Former AC WNNK (WINK 104)/HARRISBURG morning host BRUCE BOND has pleaded guilty to charges of using stolen bank account information from the FCC, BARD COLLEGE and others in a $4.3 million forged check scheme. BOND, who was arrested on MAY 20th in NEW YORK for the crime, filed the plea WEDNESDAY and will be sentenced on OCTOBER 8th, with a 2 1/2 to seven-year sentence prescribed.
BOND allegedly participated in a version of the NIGERIAN check scam, sending forged checks to people contacted through CRAIGSLIST.
