Arbitron Names John Stavropoulos VP/Engineering

ARBITRON has named JOHN STAVROPOULOS VP/Engineering to support the rapid growth of the department. He'll be responsible for all product development for the PPM, including next-generation encoders and monitoring equipment as ARBITRON continues to improve its PPM technology. He'll also be driving new development processes and validation competencies and establishing plans and road maps for ARBITRON technologies.
STAVROPOULOS previously spent 14 years at DIALOGIC (a former division of INTEL) advancing to Dir./Engineering for MEDIA SERVER products. "JOHN brings a wealth of product development experience, leadership, management skills and quality to the ARBITRON technology team, ARBITRON SVP/CTO TAYMOOR ARSHI stated. "His experience will be instrumental for our next generation encoders, the PPM as well as our Internet measurement technology.
