Florida Host, Wife In Jail On Real Estate Scam Charges

A FLORIDA pastor and community activist who hosts a show on BLACK MEDIA WORKS noncommercial Urban WJFP/FORT PIERCE, FL and his wife are in jail, unable to post bond after being charged with bilking investors in real estate scams, according to the STUART NEWS.
RODNEY and SHALONDA MCGILL were arrested last month and charged with racketeering, conspiracy to commit racketeering and four counts of mortgage fraud based on soliciting investors on the radio show; their bonds were reduced from $1.4 million to $730,000, but they were unable to obtain bond at the new rate. RODNEY MCGILL was arrested in APRIL for child abuse, but charges were dropped after his 16-year-old daughter recanted her testimony.
