CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WIHT (HOT 99.5)/WASHINGTON DC’s KANE SHOW is teaming with the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY and HARD ROCK CAFÉ, to string BRAS ACROSS DC, while raising money and awareness for breast cancer research.
This FRIDAY (10/24), over 1500 bras will be strung together and laid next to the reflecting pool – stretching from the WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL to the LINCOLN MEMORIAL. They will be laid in honor of breast cancer survivors, those currently battling the disease, and those who have lost their battle.
KANE explained, “We’re so excited to be a part of the fight against this disease that affects people all over the world. Everyone on the show has been affected in some way by breast cancer, and we’re just trying to do our part.”
THE KANE SHOW has been out at various locations throughout the DC area this month collecting bras for the event, and monetary donations for the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY.
