CBS CORPORATION has been hit with a second shareholder lawsuit alleging false and misleading statements made before the company took a $14 million charge in OCTOBER. The suit was filed in the Southern District of NEW YORK by law firm STULL, STULL AND BRODY on behalf of shareholders owning the stock between FEBRUARY 26 and OCTOBER 10, 2008.
The suit comes after COUGHLIN STOIA GELLER RUDMAN AND ROBBINS LLP filed a separate, similar suit on behalf of the CITY OF PONTIAC, MI GENERAL EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM. Both suits seek class action status.
