UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS has signed an agreement to sell national network commercial time for "Chill with MINDI ABAIR." The show’s producers will continue to handle both the creation of the weekly programming as well as affiliate relations. UNITED STATIONS EVP/GM JIM HIGGINS made the announcement in conjunction with CHILL’s executive producer, FRANK CODY.
CHILL first hit the radio airwaves in 2004 and MINDI ABAIR took over the hosting duties in 2007. The show provides stations in any format with between 2 and 5 hours weekly of "chill music." The term "chill" originated when various nightclubs created chill rooms to get away from the dance floor so that patrons might take a break from dancing and "chill out" with a different tempo of music.
