At a press conference touting its signing of ST. LOUIS RAMS football (NET NEWS 12/23) and SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY Billikens men’s basketball, as well as it new calls, WMXN-turned-WXOS/ST. LOUIS also named a new on-air host for its afternoon show. Former ST. LOUIS RAM D'MARCO FARR will join "The Fast Lane" show that already features RANDY KARRAKER and BOB RAMSEY.
The rest of the daily lineup consists of ESPN's syndicated "MIKE & MIKE In the Morning" from 5-10a, PAT PARRIS and BRYAN BURWELL from 10a-2p and "The Fast Lane" from 2-6p. "The talent we've assembled to launch this new station is truly amazing," PD JASON BARRETT said. "We've been fortunate to put together a stellar team of broadcast professionals, some of the best in ST. LOUIS sports media. Every one of the station’s on-air and behind-the-scenes staffers has been working very hard the past few months to make this station a success from the start.”
"This is a great day for sports radio listeners in the ST. LOUIS region," BONNEVILLE ST. LOUIS VP/Market Manager JOHN KIJOWSKI added. "To begin broadcasting with outstanding sports partners like the ST. LOUIS RAMS and SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY in place shows the confidence these major sports entities already have in Somerville’s broadcast standards and the quality sports content we will be delivering to their loyal fans."
