Project Paper Doll Raises $22,273 For Charity

The 2nd Annual PROJECT PAPER DOLL (PPD) auction, held NOVEMBER 28th-DECEMBER 17th, raised $22,273 for MONROE CARELL JR. CHILDREN's HOSPITAL at VANDERBILT in NASHVILLE.
Fifty-nine wooden paper dolls, representing the signature symbol in the CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL logo, were uniquely decorated by artists like KENNY CHESNEY, KEITH URBAN, MERLE HAGGARD, LADY ANTEBELLUM, KID ROCK, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, REBA McENTIRE and GEORGE STRAIT, among many others.
This year REBA's doll brought in the highest winning bid of $3,500, setting a new PPD one-bid record. Nearly $45,000 has been raised for the hospital in the two years that the event has been held.
The next eBAY auction for PPD is a series of framed, handwritten song lyrics that will launch MONDAY, JANUARY 26th through THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5th. Featured songs include "I Loved Her First" by HEARTLAND, "Dixieland Delight" by ALABAMA, "When I Get Where I'm Going" by BRAD PAISLEY & DOLLY PARTON, "Fool Hearted Memory" by GEORGE STRAIT, "Before He Cheats" by CARRIE UNDERWOOD and many more.
