WCIN Sold To Alchemy

COLORADO-based AMERICAN BROADCASTING, LLC is selling Smooth Jazz WCIN-A/CINCINNATI to ALCHEMY BROADCASTING, the company that presently leases CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING SYSTEM Oldies WDJO-A/CINCINNATI. No price was disclosed in the sale announcement.
JOHN PIERCE AND CO. served as broker representing the seller in the deal.
KSKE-A Changes Hands
PILGRIM COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is selling Talk KSKE-A/BUENA VISTA, CO to CHARLES T. DUNCAN's ROCKY MOUNTAIN RADIO, LLC for $245,000.
The buyer has been brokering time on the station since JUNE 1st with an option to buy the facility.
Mortenson Closes On Dallas Translator
JACK MORTENSON has closed on the purchase of FM translator K273BJ/DALLAS from MARIA CANDELARIA for $200,000. The translator is located west of downtown DALLAS south of IRVING and northeast of GRAND PRAIRIE, with 99 watts at 240 feet above ground level. CANDELARIA acquired the translator from TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY as a gift last year and took it silent on MAY 1st, 2008.
