EMI Agrees To Use Play MPE In Australia

EMI MUSIC and SHOCK ENTERTAINMENT GROUP have joined UNIVERSAL MUSIC AUSTRALIA and WARNER MUSIC AUSTRALIA in utilizing DESTINY MEDIA’s PLAY MPE system to distribute promos to radio and other media in AUSTRALIA. The agreement allows record companies to securely send singles, albums and other promotional assets digitally in CD quality without cumbersome DRM to close to 1,000 registered Australian media users.
