Country artists were very involved yesterday (01/20), with both the parting ceremonies from WASHINGTON, D.C. for PRESIDENT BUSH, as well as the welcome home festivities in TEXAS, as he and LAURA returned home after eight years in the Nation's Capitol.
NINE NORTH/NASHVILLE duo the ROYS performed a 30-minute set is the hanger at ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE yesterday afternoon. The segment ended with the National Anthem just before the President and First Lady boarded their flight back to TEXAS.
Waiting for the plane to land in MIDLAND, TX were CURB/NASHVILLE's RODNEY ATKINS, the GATLIN BROTHERS and LEE GREENWOOD, who performed at a ceremony at CENTENNIAL PLAZA in downtown MIDLAND.
