WOMAN'S WORLD BROADCASTING Country WTSH-F (SOUTH 107)/ROCKMART-ROME, GA gets FCC approval for stage 2 of its move closer into the ATLANTA market with the grant of a change from 45,000 to 100,000 watts. The station previously was granted a change of community of license from ROCKMART to ARAGON, GA; the new signal, from the same tower between ROME and CARTERSVILLE, will continue to rimshot ATLANTA from the northwest. The power increase was granted on JANUARY 14th.
OM KEITH DANIELS tells the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION's RODNEY HO that the station hopes to complete the upgrade in mid-2009, dependent on when RADIO ONE Smooth Jazz (soon to flip to another format) WJZZ/ATLANTA completes its move to a new tower. WTSH-F is ATLANTA's official NASCAR station.
