Jacobs Media Wants Job Seekers To Be 'Ready To Rock'
January 26, 2009 at 12:03 PM (PT)
Rock radio consulting firm JACOBS MEDIA has launched a new website geared for out-of-work Rock/Classic Rock/Alternative professionals. Rock programmers, jocks, salespeople, promotion directors, and anyone else looking for a job at a Rock-formatted station can post their resumes and related materials on "READY TO ROCK" to help in their job search.
"The recent wave of layoffs across the radio industry is distressing," JACOBS MEDIA Pres. FRED JACOBS stated. "But this sad chapter can be a great opportunity for radio station operators who place a priority on attracting talent in all departments. Our goal is to make ‘READY TO ROCK’ the place to find them. We encourage anyone looking for work in Rock radio to post their resume, and hope that when companies are looking to add talent, they'll check out the site."
www.jacobsmedia.com/readytorock is free to anyone in radio who is looking to work at a Rock station. Professionals looking for work should send their materials to email@example.com. For more information, contact PAUL JACOBS at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 1 (248) 353-9030.
