HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA has announced that it will now offer factory-installed digital HD Radio technology in more of its models. On top of the current factory-installed standard on HYUNDAI GENESIS models equipped with navigation systems, it will soon be incorporated into select 2010 models without the navigation feature, and even more models in the 2011 HYUNDAI lineup.
"HD Radio technology is another example of how HYUNDAI enhances the in-vehicle experience for our customers," said SCOTT MARGASON, HYUNDAI National Mgr./Product Development. "With our state-of-the-art audio systems, HYUNDAI is quickly becoming an in-vehicle entertainment leader."
In addition to HYUNDAI, the other automakers committed to HD Radio technology include AUDI, BMW, FORD/LINCOLN/MERCURY, JAGUAR, KIA, MINI, MERCEDES, SCION and VOLVO.
