Steel Guitarist Tom Brumley Passes

ALL ACCESS sends prayers and condolences to the family and friends of steel guitar great TOM BRUMLEY, who passed away TUESDAY (2/3) after suffering a heart attack at age 73.
BRUMLEY played steel guitar for BUCK OWENS & THE BUCKAROOS from 1963 to 1969 and also spent 10 years performing with WILLIE NELSON. He was a member of the TEXAS and INTERNATIONAL STEEL GUITAR HALLS OF FAME and was the son of legendary Gospel songwriter ALBERT E. BRUMLEY, who wrote "I'll Fly Away" and "Turn Your Radio On." BRUMLEY's "Celebration Of Life" will be held SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 15th at 2p (CT) at the BALDKNOBBERS COUNTRY THEATER in BRANDSON, MO. Other services in DALLAS and SAN ANTONIO will be annouced at a later time.
