Atlanta's Got Majic On Two Frequencies

RADIO ONE/ATLANTA has doubled the coverage area of their Urban AC WAMJ with a simulcast on two signals creating the all new MAJIC 107.5 and 97.5 -- ATLANTA’s Best Mix of R&B. The station features the STEVE HARVEY morning show, MICHAEL BAISDEN in afternoons, and a music-intensive presentation playing the '80s, '90s and today’s best R & B.
As part of the move, the Contemporary Inspirational station WPZE (PRAISE) moves to a new frequency at 102.5, which has twice the coverage of African-American households in metro.
"This allows our cluster to be the predominate Urban Media Specialists in the ATLANTA market," said VP/GM TIM DAVIES. "We now have three of the strongest brands reaching the entire African-American community with WHTA (HOT 107.9), WPZE (PRAISE 102.5) and WAMJ/WUMJ -- the new MAJIC 107.5 and 97.5."
