BIG LEAGUE BROADCASTING Sports KFNS-A-F/ST. LOUIS PD/Dir. Of Operations CHRIS "HOSS" NEUPERT is exiting to join crosstown BONNEVILLE Sports WXOS (101 ESPN) as Exec. Producer and Dir. Of RAMS Radio Operations, effective MARCH 9th. NEUPERT has been with KFNS for 12 years, working his way up from board operator to producer to APD.
"I am extremely excited about the opportunity to work with the RAMS RADIO NETWORK family and 101 ESPN," said NEUPERT. "To have the opportunity to pursue my passion for football and work with a great franchise like the RAMS and an accomplished group of broadcasters on the RAMS RADIO network is as big of a thrill as I’ve experienced during my career. I am looking forward to my new position, working for an outstanding company like BONNEVILLE ST. LOUIS RADIO GROUP and with ST. LOUIS' first sports/talk radio station on the FM dial."
101 ESPN PD JASON BARRETT added, "CHRIS is one of the most well-rounded, talented and trustworthy professionals I’ve had a chance to work with during my career. I am extremely excited to have his knowledge and expertise at 101 ESPN, particularly as our station takes over RAMS RADIO. He is passionate about football, he is a great communicator and he is versatile in coaching on-air talent, creating strong production and producing sports/talk radio programs, as well as working with the various sports teams and players in our market.
"He will become my right-hand man at 101 ESPN, and we will work together closely on all programming matters 12 months per year and I believe his addition will allow us to make the transition of RAMS RADIO smooth and seamless."
VP/Market Manager JOHN KIJOWSKI said, "CHRIS NEUPERT is a versatile player who will add depth year-round to the 101 ESPN team, beyond his RAMS RADIO responsibilities. His passion for his work and his ability to communicate were very evident during our discussions and I am thrilled to add such a quality broadcast professional to our team."
