Man Who Harassed WEEI Staff Pleads Guilty

The CAMBRIDGE, MA man who was charged with making obscene and threatening phone calls to ENTERCOM Talk WEEI-A/BOSTON morning hosts JOHN DENNIS and GERRY CALLAHAN and Market Maager JULIE KAHN has pleaded guilty in a deal which places him in an anger management program and prevents him from calling the station again. BANNER will be on probation for a year and will also perform 20 hours of community service.
Among the calls made by BANNER were an OCTOBER 29th, 2008 call in which he allegedly said he would kick KAHN in the teeth, and two NOVEMBER 4th calls in which he made death threats.
